Fitting the Touring windscreen provides a significant increase in aerodynamic protection, while retaining the sporty styling and eliminating the most annoying turbulence generated by the original windscreen. With larger dimensions than the original screen, its aggressive diagonal lines fit perfectly with Suzuki's Sport-Touring aesthetic, allowing dynamism without losing protection. The entire lower part of the windscreen adapts perfectly to the shape of the SUZUKI GSX-S1000GX windscreen mounting area.

The Puig Touring windscreen, developed using virtual wind tunnel technology, helps to deflect the air to the sides so that it does not impinge on the rider's torso and head. An aerodynamic study shows that with the original windscreen, the rider is subjected to 3 kg of pressure, while with the Touring windscreen, it is only 0.4 kg, representing an improvement of 87%. This will be particularly noticeable in the chest area.
