Puig's new touring bubble meets all the functional requirements for increased aerodynamic protection, as well as the design requirements for perfect integration with the latest generation of the successful Bavarian maxi Trail. Larger than the original screen, it features a sporty design with pronounced edges that add rigidity and a more aggressive appearance in line with the style of the new BMW. The lower and side shapes adjust at the front to increase lateral protection, effectively deflecting air cleanly to the sides. This eliminates the turbulence generated by the original screen, particularly around the forearms and helmet. The flip at the top of the bubble helps us to deflect this pressure and eliminate the most annoying turbulence. Puig provides an aerodynamic study showing an 88% increase in wind protection without affecting the aerodynamic coefficient, as its main function is to protect the rider's torso. Thanks to its design, developed using virtual wind tunnel technology, and its larger dimensions, the installation of the Touring bubble significantly improves aerodynamic protection, deflecting much of the air that would otherwise hit the rider, increasing riding comfort and reducing fatigue.
