Pads Fluid InsideTM* each pod comprises a flexible membrane filled with a compressible foam disk saturated with a low-shear fluid.

On impact, the foam compresses to provide additional protection against linear impacts. At the same time, a low-shear fluid is dispersed throughout the nacelle, creating a sliding plane that allows the helmet to move relative to the head to provide protection against rotational force.
