This part being universal, it may require adaptations
RFX Pro F8 series tapered handlebars are designed and tested for use at the highest level.
F8 tapered handlebars are made from 7075-T6 aluminum and feature an oversized tapered extension (OTE) for optimum strength and impact resistance, while Engineered Flex Technology (EFT) and Progressive Damping Control (PDC) deliver optimum flexibility and reduce machine vibration to combat rider fatigue.
The F8 tapered handlebar design also features an original crossbar, giving a slightly firmer handlebar feel compared to the F7 design, and is the preferred choice of some expert and professional riders.
The OTE is a lengthening of the oversized central part (28.6 mm). Increasing the oversize portion beyond the last bend of the handlebar adds significant strength to the weakest part of any handlebar. Add to this a wall thickness of 5 mm that remains constant even on the outside of bends, and the F8 tapered handlebar is one of the lightest and strongest handlebars on the market.
EFT is designed to offer a little flexibility in the handlebars. Careful selection of a 5 mm inner wall thickness in the handlebar elevation and taper area helps reduce the effects of shocks during high impacts, while giving the rider maximum front-end feel when cornering. F8 handlebars have a slightly firmer feel than F7 thanks to the built-in crossbar.
The PDC is created by using a greater wall thickness of 5.3 mm on the handlebar grip area, which has been calculated to balance and dampen the effects of handlebar vibrations. The principle is similar to the handlebar weights used in sports bikes, but specifically designed and tested to cope with the range of vibrations produced by modern high-performance motocross bikes.
