Based on the success of the Spectron, the Adron is a top-of-the-range flip-up helmet in fibre combining feather-like weight, a host of handy features, excellent maintenance, sofa-like comfort and super-effective airflow.
As for weight, the Adron (size M) tips the scales at 1500 g, a very light helmet for its category!
The shell is made of several layers of different fibres (glass, Kevlar, etc.) which ensures light weight and top-rate resistance in the event of a fall. Also note that the Adron\'s chin guard is also made of fibre, and this is rare in the field of fibre flip-up helmets. To differentiate itself from its more tourism-oriented direct competitors, this helmet deliberately promotes a more sporty and Roadster philosophy. So, its overall shape, accessories and cheek pad extraction system (in the event of a serious accident) are very reminiscent of their cousins, Nucleon and Atome helmets, which are also roadster and sports oriented. In any case, the airflow system is unique to the Adron and is designed to carry fresh air effectively on to the rider\'s head.
Inside, the ADRON benefits from a set of multi-density pads which are completely removable and washable. Anti-bacterial and anti-sweat treated, they provide great support and keep the helmet from moving, even at the highest of speeds.
The best-connected amongst you will be pleased to learn that DEXTER developed the ADRON to easily accept a Bluetooth kit, whether their own brand\'s DEXTER D-1, or the majority of compatible kits available on the market.
The generously-proportioned visor provides a pleasant field of view and is fitted with quick-release mounts for rapid, tool-free removal. It is supplied with a Pinlock® anti-fog insert which avoids any inconvenience in humid and cold conditions. Also very welcome is the removable anti-UV treated sun visor. Hidden under the shell, it is operated via a button placed on the outside of the shell.
For easy putting on and taking off, the ADRON is attached using a metal micro-metric buckle fastening, a mechanism which combines reliability, simplicity and precision.
Note: in accordance with European and French standards, this helmet is shipped with a clear visor fitted as standard, as well as a set of reflectors which are required to be attached for use in France.
