ALPINESTARS presents its STELLA TECH-AIT 3 V2 motorbike airbag waistcoat, designed for women, which can be worn over or under a motorbike jacket

Features
- Fully autonomous active airbag system, requiring no external sensors or connections on the motorcycle for the system to operate
- An LED display on the front chest indicates the operating status of the airbag. It also incorporates a haptic alert, which vibrates to confirm that the system has been activated and warns the driver when the battery is low.
- WhenTech-Air Tech-Air 3 detects the onset of an impact, the system inflates the protective airbag in 50 milliseconds
- The Tech-Air® 3 v2 features a diagonal zip that fully covers the chest while concealing the inner airbag. The magnetic zip has been designed for ease of use and secure closure of the airbag.
- The Tech-Air® 3 v2 uses an integrated, certified lithium-ion battery, with a battery life of 40 hours and a recharge time of around 4 hours.
Protections
- Impact protection 17092-6 Class C (outer garment), with the outer shell constructed from water-resistant material.
- Once inflated, the Tech-Air® 3 v2 offers full thorax and back protection thanks to the airbag, which is CE Category II certified in accordance with European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 EEC on personal protective equipment (PPE), in line with the relevant part of the EN1621-4:2013 airbag certification standard. This certification guarantees protection against shocks for at least five seconds after triggering. Impact attenuation is level 2 for the thorax and back.

The pluses "
- Tech-Air® 3 v2 incorporates Alpinestars' 2ᵉ generation Pro compact electronic control unit (ECU), which is located in the ECU pocket on the upper back of the inner vest Tech-Air® 3 v2.
- Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE 5.0) connectivity to the Tech-Air® app allows bikers to monitor the system's operating status, battery status and provides a detailed map of riders journeys via MyRide.
- The upgradeable system software can be accessed via the Tech-Air® application, where drivers can quickly check the version of software installed and, if required, perform the latest software updates.
- Gas cartridge located in the inflator box on the left side of the rider's lower back
- You can replace the gas cartridge yourself
- The ECU seal protection of the Tech-Air® 3 v2 guarantees all-weather performance and is certified to operate between -20 ⁰C and +40 ⁰C.
Reconditioning
After activation, the vest must be returned, as only trained personnel can refurbish gas cartridges and airbags
