Dayco presents the reinforced timing belt for Ducati motorcycles. Dayco''s HT belts guarantee efficient, constant coupling between the various drive elements, even under high mechanical stress, thanks to innovative materials and a special PTFE film combined with the tooth cover fabric. The HT belt is immediately recognizable thanks to its unique white inner side, made possible by Dayco''s exclusive patented PTFE film.

Thanks to this new technology, Dayco has succeeded in increasing the belt''s resistance to wear by meshing with the pulleys (including on the belt flank) and limiting lateral wear caused by contact of the belt flank with the pulley flange.

Composition of a HT timing belt:

• Belt tooth protected by PTFE film on fabric
• Tough, new-generation high-modulus fiberglass insert
• Belt compound made from modern polymers, withstands temperatures up to 120°C/250°F
